The World Famous Spawn Base, (also often called HermeticLock's World Famous Spawn Base), was a project that was started in February of 2017 by HermeticLock. It was started as a social experiment, where HermeticLock would continue to build there no matter how much the location was griefed.
History
As a result of the project's nature and close proximity to spawn, it was frequently griefed with relative ease. Several days after its foundation, The then-Third Largest Battle in 2b2t History (15 players) occurred at the location of the base.
Although the base itself was not particularly large, HermeticLock rebuilt the base many times with many other players over its lifespan, with many visiting and contributing.
In July of 2017 the second chapter of the spawnbase began, and HermeticLock restarted his video series at the location.
In December of 2017, a gold farm named Project Shiny was added.
The spawnbase was used by the Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Incursions as a meeting place.
Cloud Club was constructed near the base in the Summer of 2019.
SalC1 uploaded a video on the base in June 2020.

- July 2017 - Made active once again.
- July 27, 2023 - HermeticLock creates a video called "Giving 2b2t something to do" inviting, once again, the entire playerbase to the spawn base.
- July 31, 2023 - Herm uploads a follow-up video showcasing some builds made at the base.
