Why is this page getting removed again and again?

https://web.archive.org/web/20190511213304/https://2b2t.miraheze.org/wiki/2b2t_clones

It is no longer necessary as there is now a wiki specifically for clones. plus the page was beyond our scope to begin with. as such it was marked for deletion. --LordGalvatronMC (talk) 22:05, 1 July 2020 (UTC)

Whats the IP of the Wiki?

Just do something

Basically every other day in the past week this page has some block/restoration going on. While the restorer might have negative intentions (such as to advertise) the administrators seem to not resort to another method than to harsh banning from days to weeks.

From what I see there're other alternatives; add a "Clones" section to 2b2t and put one to two sentences explaining what clones are and add some trivial stuff like the #b#t formatting or how its mostly after June 2016, then redirect this page. A redirect to the AMS would be nice but knowing this wiki it probably wouldn't be considered. You could also adjust the page to just be non-advertise like and just explain what clones are, give some examples, and be done with it, instead of banning people every time they touch the page without even question. Or, potentially, the active userbase could have a vote or some bs to get them a say like the night restorations were fought over, but that probably is at the bottom of the barrel. Administrators could also put a notice on why the page was brought down on the page and then lock it so noone can edit it (as well as its redirect). But I'm just saying there're a lot of other options other than resorting to blocking people over a page a lot of people "cared" about from what it seems. Fredmodulars (talk) 17:14, 15 July 2020 (UTC)
