2b2t is a Minecraft server with no rules (IP to join: 2b2t.org) that has been running on the same map since February 2011, and is owned anonymously. It has had over 600,000 players join throughout the years, and is often called the worst Minecraft server for the toxic playerbase it has maintained. It is known for players taking the game to its absolute limits, and the server is usually at the forefront of exploits, hacks, and PvP. The server is one of the oldest running servers in Minecraft, behind MinecraftOnline and others such as Nerd.nu. The server has seen thousands of groups and bases rise and fall throughout its history. It offers players a Minecraft experience unparalleled in any other server or video game.

August 24 - A post is released on the 2b2t website entitled "Update on the 1.19 situation - An Apology and Explanation" by someone who calls themselves "Housemaster". In it, they apologize to the playerbase and explain their reasoning for making the controversial changes to the server during the update to 1.19.4. The post also announces the removal of the anti-xray feature that was introduced with the update, but makes no mention of plans to undo the soft economy reset or other changes. Shortly after the original apology post goes up, it is edited to include "Hausemaster" as the author's name, while still keeping the original spelling of "Housemaster" alongside it. A poll is posted to the 2b2t subreddit by Housemaster/Hausemaster to determine if the playerbase would be interested in a full-scale rollback to the final 1.12 save of the world. The options given in the poll are "Rollback without item economy reset", "Rollback without item economy reset, without chunk trimming", and "No rollback".
August 25 - A post is released on the 2b2t website announcing that the server will perform a rollback to the final 1.12.2 backup, before updating again to 1.19.4 without the soft economy reset or chunk culling measures. The group was deleted by Hause in 2019 or 2020.
December 2010 – Hausemaster and/or georgebush420, the two server operators, begin 2b2t's current map. 2b2t is populated by people in the already existing 2b2t Garry's Mod community (such as Rage639 and BennyGun).
